This day was non-stop from the gates! With laughter, crying, celebrating … okay, maybe a little drinking too!… and tons of killer dancing! Some of the coolest shots to date!! I really can’t say enough about this amazing couple and their friends and family. I left this event confident that I have the best job in the world, and that everyone should feel like a rock star from time to time … brides and grooms included! Fabulous – fabulous – FABULOUS! A little rain wasn’t going to stop us at all – yes, we had to be a little creative, but having a wonderful venue like the Aquarium for your reception also helps!:) Shout out to Kim for all your help; the day went very smoothly, and thanks for that! Although the ground was a super soaked sponge, we managed to find some great locations within Pattison Park. Not only did we avoid rain we had a blast! What a beautiful and quaint location. It seems like throughout the night your friends and family continued to complement myself and my second shooter Ashley on our crazy shooting style and making sure we had enough to eat and drink, thus making us feel like family. The day we had our first big snow and my second shooter (Ashley the 2nd ninja) and I drove to Dayton to photograph a beautiful winter wedding. It was practically Vegas, baby! The Haute was off the charts – and it wasn’t just the party that was hot! The weather was one of the hottest days of the summer, but it was no sweat for the bride and groom. Janie and John’s wedding was certainly a day to be remembered!
Janie’s dress was beautiful, and she truly beamed as she walked down the aisle. John’s expression when he took her hand was priceless, you can see he knows he’s a lucky man! Friends and family surrounded the couple with unparalleled enthusiasm – as the reception photos showed! We truly enjoyed being a part of the day – the energy was contagious, and the party went late into the night, but there was no sign of stopping the celebration – we’re sure the joy and love will spill over into this couple’s many happy years to come!

My first destination wedding of the year brought me back to my home town of Huntington West Virginia. It was wonderful seeing all my friends and family! Amy looked absolutely breathtaking! Allison and Drew had a beautiful, intimate wedding. The bride was beaming, and Drew’s obvious love for her is visible in each and every photograph.
